WIND RIVER MOUNTAINS - Our Wind River Mountain trips take place in the high country of the Bridger Teton National Forest & Bridger Wilderness. The Bridger wilderness covers 428,000 acres and extends for 80 miles on the West slope of the Continental Divide. The East slope is protected by almost another half million acres of wilderness & roadless area.

The Wind River Mountains are so vast with literally 100's of destinations; we don't have a standard trip. Most trips are custom designed by discussing the options with the potential trekkers. We are particularly fond of family fishing adventures.

WYOMING RANGE - Spring comes early to the Wyoming Range (Cliff Creek Pass 9,000ft.) allowing early access to the backcountry. The scenic vistas, solitude and abundant wildlife make it a great trip any time of year. Climb (walk up) Hoback Peak for a "top of the world view". Where else can you stand in one spot looking at 7 different mountain ranges? The Wyoming Range, Salt Range, Snake Range, Gros Ventre, Wind River Mountains, Unitas and the Tetons surround you. Custom trips available.

GROS VENTRE - Granite Creek, Turquoise Lake, the High Line Trail, Shoal Creek, Swift Creek: these trails and destinations are virtually unknown to backpackers, yet it is some of the most spectacular country, with the most diverse and abundant wildlife, anywhere. Put the wild back into wilderness and join us on a Llama Trek through this incredible piece of Wyoming. If our scheduled trips don't fit, we are always happy to plan a custom trip perfect for your group.

On our fully outfitted llama treks we supply hardy meals and snacks starting with lunch on the first day ending with lunch on the last day. The menu will include fresh meat, fruit, vegetables and baked goods. This is no time to be dieting. Of course we will accommodate special requirements. We also will provide sturdy tents, sleeping pads, first aid kit, water filtration system and crazy creek type chairs and camp supplies. We assign each member of the party a llama to lead with space for 25 lbs. of personal gear, including sleeping bag. Everything must fit into 3 10x20 stuff sacks. (See recommended check list)

We require a minimum party of 4 (four) if your party is smaller, we will try to match you up with a compatible group. Generally we will limit group size to a maximum of 8 (eight). Under special circumstances eg: family reunion, we will consider something larger, or larger parties can be split into 2 groups with daily rendezvous and camps in proximity.

Rates: A standard trip of 5 days 4 nights at $825.00 per person. Kids 12 and under ½ price. Shorter or longer trips optional

NOTE: sleeping bags are available for rent if required.

We are permitted by the U.S. Forest Service to lead Llama Pack Trips into the Wind River Mtns., The Gros Venture & The Wyoming Range.
