Highline Trail Llamas
Overnight Cookout

imageMeet up at Elkhart Park (paved road 13 miles east of Pinedale) at 12:00 noon, (after lunch).

There will be an introduction to llama packing as we load your gear and pack the llamas. We then head into the Bridger WInderness about 5 miles to set up the tents and establish a camp. While you are relaxing we will start the charcoal for a great steak dinner with baked potato and salad. (Alternate menu available upon request) After dinner we take a 10 minute hike to photographers point to watch alpenglow wash the backcountry of the Wind River Range. Be sure to bring your cameras. We will enjoy dessert and a hot beverage while nature shows her best. Back to camp for a good nights sleep, awakening to a campfire and a hardy western style breakfast. Returning to Elkhart Park early afternoon. We supply everything the same as a multi day guided trip, you need to bring your sleeping bag and personal gear, limited to 15 lbs per person. A daypack is recommended for things you want accessible on the trip.
